Hang on, we’re in for a bumpy ride. We have two apparently conflicting energy streams tugging us in different directions, and it’s up to us to ride these currents with grace; as the Sun conjuncts intuitive Neptune blurs the edge of reality and takes us into a soft imaginary world just as activating Mars conjuncts electrifying Uranus and turns up the engine of discontent.
As the Sun conjuncts Neptune in sensitive Pisces it calls us into our spirit and our imaginary worlds. We can be sensitive, intuitive, and hungry for spiritual practice, but can also get easily lost in our imagination and alternative facts. Our hopes and our fears, our dreams and our discouragements can warp our perception of what’s really going on. We can drift into a dream then be jolted back to reality.
In a quiet, creative or romantic moment, that Sun-Neptune conjunction can be magical. But the world sizzles and pops this week as activating Mars conjuncts electrical Uranus in feisty Aries and both opposed expansive Jupiter. Our engines are reved-up and we can careen off down the road without a clear picture of what’s actually going on. That Mars-Uranus conjunction wants to get the party started, the mood it imparts is proactive and highly competitive. Tempers erupt as if we’re sitting on a geyser. All while we can’t quite see what’s going on.
Mars conjunct Uranus can bring both flashes of genius or accidental conditions. That Neptune-Sun conjunction can bring soggy conditions. Watch out around electrical equipment, floods, fogs, and look twice before merging at an intersection. Give people room to vent if they need it, and we all will once in a while, but let’s confirm our data before really going off on a rant.
Because Mars and Venus in Aries do turn up the volume on our desires, they can help us understand what we truly want. But it may not be our most mature self speaking, and we may not be thinking particularly realistically. So even though we need to think twice before leaving a steady job to pursue a dream as trapeze artist, let’s listen to any clamoring inner calls and see if there is a way to honor the need for something more intense, free, and passionate within the healthy confines of a stable life.
On Friday it furthers to think about the big picture; schedule meetings and sketch out the plans for the next few weeks while Mercury and the Moon are in collaborative Aquarius. Tears flow easily as the Moon and Mercury enter more personal, emotional Pisces on Saturday. We can feel flooded and sensitive even as we feel pushed to get out and get things done. Emotional material can pour through us this weekend, water can flow out of bounds as the Moon and Mercury enter more personal, sensitive Pisces. Let those feelings flow and realize they speak of an emotional truth, but maybe not cold hard fact. Everybody could use a little sympathy.
On Tuesday, a feisty Aries Moon amps up the action. The change producing Jupiter-Uranus opposition peaks on Thursday and can catalyze sudden liberating events and technological innovation. We can be more prone to breaking than building, but what we begin now will have power.
if we need to make a change to our website or change in our lives, this momentum will support us. Let’s support one another’s soul expansion in the process. It’s probably better not to buy technological equipment this week, because electrics may be temperamental, but if we need to make a change to our website or change in our lives, this momentum will support us. Instigate. We can seed changes now that will bring more stability in the future.
Friday, February 24: We may feel an urgent need to do something, anything, but could get lost, talk with strangers, find ourselves wandering or distracted and beat ourselves up for not getting enough done. But those social interactions may be just the medicine needed, and the contacts we nurture now may be important later. Connections networked, decisions made, and meetings held now will be important in the weeks ahead. Physical action furthers, so let off steam in positive ways.
Moon sextile Venus 8:40 AM.
Saturday, February 25: We can spin around in our personal life and feel an emotional neediness or urgency, but may have trouble pinpointing the source or cure. Feelings well up and water damage is possible this evening, so stay alert for flooding conditions, inebriated drivers or other compromised people in decision-making positions. Enjoy an otherworldly quality, but keep track of logistics and traffic carefully.
Moon sextile Mars 12:46 AM, Moon sextile Uranus 2:52 AM, Moon trine Jupiter 4:01 AM, Moon sextile Saturn 11:11 AM, Mercury enters Pisces 4:07 PM, Moon enters Pisces 5:24 PM, Moon conjunct’s Mercury 5:35 PM.
Sunday, February 26: We can be an emotional bowl of mush today as a new Moon/Solar eclipse in Pisces at 7:58 AM seen in the extreme southern hemisphere, marks an emotional turning point. Let those feelings well up and spill out but don’t attach to the stories. Listen for some deep internal decision to end a phase that felt victimized or underutilized and feel propelled towards a more effective stance in the future as Mars conjunct Uranus tonight. But be wise about those decisions, and questions any sudden, last minute effort to lash out that might, in the end, shoot the perpetrator in the foot. Keep eyes open for shocking news or actions, and move wisely and smoothly towards a healthier more compassionate future.
Solar eclipse/new Moon 7:58 AM. Moon conjunct Neptune 1:55 PM, Mars conjunct Uranus 5:19 PM.
Monday, February 27: Last night’s explosive, motivating Mars-Uranus conjunction opposes Jupiter this morning and turns up the heat. Strong conflicting feelings can leave us stirred up, we want to be braver than we feel. We need to tell others how we feel with an honest, open heart. The mood grows more competitive, if passive-aggressive, but also compassionate, brave, sensitive and impatiently irritable. Put in a competitive bid, run for office, start a novel, declare love, or compete against one’s personal best. The heat escalates tonight as the Moon enters Aries.
Moon sextile Pluto 2:25 AM, Mars opposed Jupiter 7:24 AM, Moon square Saturn 4:07 PM, Moon enters Aries 9:51 PM.
Tuesday, February 28: The river of feelings continue to pour through as the Moon conjunct Venus in Aries. We may be highly reactive, but can combust in the best of ways, for love, for compassionate action, or for creative process. But it may feel absolutely impossible to do boring or repetitive work. Trying to stick to routine chores may feel like to be trying to give a cat a bath. The world temperament runs hot and reactive, with wild acts of bravery and strong loves and hates.
Moon conjunct Venus 7:54 PM.
Wednesday, March 1: The world feels illusory, mythic as the Sun conjuncts Neptune. It furthers to immerse ourselves in a long hot bath, dream world, imagination, spiritual practice. Let’s just know that objective that will be hard to find, alternative backs will be thick on the ground but our intuitive perceptions can pick up a truth, though it may be hard for us to interpret clearly. It furthers one to merge with spirit, to hug beloveds, to choose a puppy.
Moon square Pluto 5:49 AM, Moon conjunct Uranus 11:27 AM, Moon opposed Jupiter 11:42 AM, Moon conjunct Mars 2:48 PM, Moon trine Saturn 7:18 PM, Sun conjunct Neptune 7:43 PM.
Thursday, March 2: The Moon enters earthy Taurus and begins to settle us down, we can get back to the concrete work at hand, but still want to feel we are part of the big picture, connected to the great movements of our time. We feel a call to pragmatic liberation. Jupiter opposes Uranus and stimulates a freedom-loving ingenuity that inspires political action and technological innovation, but it may take us months for us to see the results.
Moon enters Taurus 12:42 AM, Moon sextile Mercury 3:47 PM, Jupiter opposed Uranus 6:15 PM, Moon sextile Neptune 8:26 PM, Moon sextile Sun 10:13 PM.

The great question of this astrological decade, the question the planets ask us over and over again, concern what is the right use of power, whether personal power, political power or how we derive and use electrical power. What changes do need to make to avoid the misuse of power, and instead use it in a new, dynamic, safe, and enlivening way. This question intensifies over the next few weeks as confronting Mars in Aries first squares Pluto this week, then conjuncts Uranus next week while those two planets oppose expansive Jupiter. We can expect ground-shifts of all types. Let’s break this down.
Pluto brings whatever it touches to the edge of life and death so we can reorganize our relationship to it. From 2008 through 2024 it traverses Capricorn, sign of structure, political power, authority, discipline, and traditions. The last time Pluto was at this point in Capricorn was 1772, one year before the Boston tea party, four years before the American Revolution.
Pluto was energized during the American Revolution by a supportive trine from electrifying Uranus in Taurus, and it was still a messy time. Change-master Uranus entered rebellious Aries in 2010 and kicked off the Arab Spring. In America, our change proceeded without the revolutionary violence, through the courts and changing political systems and was not bottled up into conflict same conflict. Now that our political system has produced a more Pluto in Capricorn figurehead, we can feel that explosive Uranus in Aries discontent simmer here at home.
This week a fast-moving, energizing Mars in Aries adds extra punch to that discontent when it squares Pluto, and extra heat when it conjuncts electrifying Uranus and opposes Jupiter next week. On the world stage, expect simmering pots to come to a rolling boil.
So, under duress and in a potentially willful week, the planets ask us to look at how we use our personal power, our political and financial power, how we use our fossil fuels, because they are all connected. We need to look in our simple daily interactions and our spiritual life as well as our politics, and ask are we using all of these for the best of all sentient beings. What transformation can we catalyze to improve our situation, across the board.
On Friday, this underlying discontent is highlighted by a brooding, mood-sharpening Scorpio Moon. Through the rest of the weekend a more upbeat, frank Sagittarius Moon gets us out and about; physically activity will help us deal with an increased emotional sensitivity as the Sun slide into Pisces. It will help restore our resilience to take a break from our normal concerns and the world’s woes to stretch our minds or explore new territory.
Midweek our industriousness returns in time for important strategic meetings under a pragmatic Capricorn moon, and as mental Mercury trines expansive Jupiter. Some people will say too much, and the very nature of freedom is a topic of debate.
Feel the centrifugal force of willpower as Mars squares Pluto on Wednesday, and use it wisely. We can use this power to accomplish good things, but let’s refuse to be manipulated, and choose not to manipulate. It could be the perfect time to push a project forward, to make a leap forward, or just go work out, but there will plenty of fuel for confrontations, and even explosions, so proceed thoughtfully. Avoid accidents created by emotional distraction, let life be a dance.
The week ends on more compassionate note as Venus sextiles Saturn and calms us down. It furthers to reach into the past, to old friends or traditions and remember our resources.
Friday, February 17: We may not be feeling sociable, a Scorpio Moon calls us into our inner rooms and asks us to do some work. Cynicism can give vent to discontent but it furthers to concentrate on to have something to concentrate upon and pour our discontent into constructive action. People can be there for us in an emergency, just don’t expect peace and light and warmth fuzziness. Research and investigation furthers midday as the Moon sextiles Pluto, we may be distracted and moody, but a chance to concentrate can do us wonders. Tonight, we may need to talk, but let’s go deep or not bother.
Moon square Mercury 7:18 AM, Moon sextile Pluto 12:37 PM.
Saturday, February 18: The Sun enters Pisces, beginning what is normally a month where we review the past, rest, dream, and prepare for spring, where we take care of feelings as tender as the first snowdrop flowers. But this year those tender feelings sprout in a world that’s edgier, less interested in vulnerability, more action-oriented. Today’s Sagittarius Moon suggests that if we get out in the wild or take a break from routine, we can renew our resilience. After a more private, potentially resentful, morning, the Moon enter Sagittarius Moon and encourages us to be outspoken, but we can choose to do so in a kindly way. Let the day be diverse: rather than feel conflicted about what to do or who to do it with, time share.
Sun enters Pisces 4:13 AM., Moon enters Sagittarius 11:52 AM, Moon squares Sun 12:33 PM.
Sunday, February 19: Continue that break, study something new, explore boldly connect with the wild and do anything else that feeds the soul and lets restlessness find a good outlet. Let companions find their own source to renewal, as it can be different for each person, and we won’t take orders well. If we’re cooped up together we may start finding fault with one another when there is no problem, and in the name of honesty say mean things. Make sure that the restlessness goes where it belongs and doesn’t spill over unnecessarily upon one another.
Moon trine Venus 8:20 AM, Moon square Neptune 10:43 AM, Moon trine Mars 10:13 PM.
Monday, February 20: It’s hard to buckle down to work earlier today, we may be looking for ingenuity and a fresh approach, and can find a great new idea as Mercury sextiles Uranus. Anxious twitches or a sharpening temper are a sign of restlessness, a need to get out and approach the problem from another angle. Avoid wrote work and familiar chores, use that ingenuity to tackle all sorts of odd life glitches. We can do this. It will help to get on the same page with teammates over this coming week while Mercury resides in more collaborative Aquarius, as the next few weeks rock and roll, and a basic plan will help.
Moon sextile Jupiter 9:49 AM, Moon opposed Saturn 4:36 PM, Mercury sextile Uranus 9:01 PM.
Tuesday, February 21: We move into a strategic, potentially difficult few days as Mars approaches a square to powerful Pluto, then conjuncts erratic Uranus next week. We will have unusual determination when we know what we want, and unusual frustration if we feel blocked. We’re irritable if we can’t get what we want, and angry if we feel manipulated. It’s important to redirect out of reaction and into progression and use this energy for our own goals and our collective vision.
Moon sextile Mercury 6:31 AM, Moon trine Uranus 7:38 AM, Moon enters Capricorn 12:07 AM, Moon sextile Sun 6:15 AM, Mercury trine Jupiter 11:27 AM.
Wednesday, February 22: This could be a truly difficult day; a Mars squares Pluto and can energize us but inflame an urge for confrontation and dominance. We need to be strategic. We know what we are against, but it may be hard to remember what we’re for. But we can use this irritable confronting nature to tackle difficult problems, though it takes personal discipline and willpower. Just avoid unnecessarily conflicts. Midday can be particularly volatile as the Capricorn Moon conjuncts Pluto and squares Mars and Uranus. Reconnect tonight, we need to remember who’s in our corner.
Mars squares Pluto 2:02 AM, Moon conjunct Pluto 12:34 PM, Moon square Mars 1:12 PM, Moon squares Uranus 6:44 PM, Moon squares Jupiter 8:23 PM.
Thursday, February 23: Although change vibrates in the air, a compassionate note seeps in as friendly Venus sextiles stabilizing Saturn under a collaborative Aquarius Moon. Reach to the past, to old friends, daily spiritual or traditions. Go back to the last form that worked, and update from there. Check in with one another and prove friendship can be trusted. We are each other’s outriggers on life’s choppy seas.
Moon enters Aquarius 10:17 AM, Venus sextiles Saturn 2:44 PM.

We’re fired up and ready to go, but may not agree on where we’re going. Venus and Mars conjunct in Aries, visible in the early evening sky, keep our passionate engagement simmering. Our soul’s histamines inflamed quickly, leaving us with an impatient allergy to anything we consider wrong or offensive. We can pour our heart into work as long as we can keep our focus, but with a relatively short attentions span, that can be a challenge. Our Facebook page, a new flame, or yet another news bulletin can send us off to chase those rabbits instead of observing what’s really going on, or turning this passionate engagement into considered and durable action.
We can also love as fiercely, and new relationships can spark over common interest or a passing moment. This heat is just in time for a spicy, if not necessarily romantic, Valentine’s week. Consider keeping Valentine dates to an active or spontaneous experience; we may just be too wound up to spend an evening staring at one another in candlelight.
Friday brings a high-profile full moon-penumbral eclipse in dramatic Leo. Full moons highlights tension it occurs. Leo’s best motto is “I am the center of the universe, and so are you”, the inspiration to be a cultural hearth-fire, teacher, lover, leader, and performer. Leo’s lowest note is the “I am the center of the universe and you are not” narcissism. The eclipse spotlights public self- aggrandizement, but also asks us to check ourselves, and ponder where our own healthy need for self-expression and self-care veer into feathering our nest in a way that conflicts with the healthy needs of others. Let’s ponder how we further our personal narrative while we take care of those around us, both personally and as a country. Where can we shine in a way that also helps all sentient beings.
As if a Full Leo Moon eclipse couldn’t bring enough drama, we also get a comet blazing by us on Friday. The Comet will be visible in the early morning houses with a pair of binoculars, Thursday through Sunday, but most visible on Saturday morning, in the east near the constellation Hercules. It will still be 20x farther out that the Moon, but close enough to influence us. Now comets are not only beautiful to watch, they are also synchronous with a year of unusual events that trigger potential historic changes, unusual storms, changes in regimes, and a stirred-up population. We see a symbolic introduction of matter, matter from another part of the solar system once frozen and now ignited, and this provokes change.
Friday may also be the most romantic night of the week, though potentially difficult on the world stage. as Mercury sextiles Venus makes it can feel really good to put our beloved in the center of our attention and treasure them. Under this full Moon in Leo we can engage the healing power of the arts, particularly performing arts, and celebrate any of the expression of our heart.
The Moon heads into Virgo over the weekend and sharpens our critique, it also lets us know where we’re feeling edgy and how our recent experiences have affected our digestive system and our ability nurture ourselves. It reminds us to take care of ourselves when the world feel stressful.
Early next week the Moon enters Libra and asks us what is fair and balanced; but it may not be our mood. We can use funny spontaneous moments to unwind and connect with those who care that our life is bright and equitable as that Libra Moon opposes Venus and Mars in Aries.
Make this an inclusive Valentine’s day; spread warm feelings all around in true egalitarian Aquarian fashion. Remember that St. Valentine wrote of divine love, not romantic love.
Our mood grows barbs on Thursday as the Moon enters focused, stubborn Scorpio and Mercury sextiles Mars. Our concentration is stronger when we’re on track, and our vitriol increases when we’re ticked off. Stay on target. Let’s not let people distract us from our purpose and our goals.
Friday, February 10: Look for a paradoxical day of personal romance and political melodrama. We can sweettalk one another as Mercury sextiles Venus, want to share the beauty of our words and inspiration. but are easily inflamed by an apparent tension between the personal needs and the needs of the group. We all want to shine but narcissism will infuriate us under the full Moon eclipse at 5:32 PM. Evening brings more chance to be personally generous and collaborative as the Moon sextiles Jupiter and trine’s Saturn.
Mercury sextile Venus, Moon trine Uranus 3:35 PM, Moon opposed sun/lunar eclipse 5:32 PM, Moon sextile Jupiter 6:39 PM, Moon trine Saturn 10:52 PM.
Saturday, February 11: It furthers to get our life in order, we’ll feel better if we clear our desk are closet, clear out our inbox or smudge our aura. Critical voice is strong, we need to speak our critique, go very gently with one another in the process. Anxiety about global issues can come out on an interpersonal level and that doesn’t help. It furthers to do something that expands our horizons today as the Sun trines Jupiter.
Moon enters Virgo 6:51 AM, Sun trine Jupiter 8:45 AM.
Sunday, February 12: Our thinking may be fuzzy, our concerns can work into our dreams as the Moon opposes Neptune, but they’re not prophecy. Let an afternoon heartache wash through as the Moon trines Pluto. Support health tonight.
Moon opposed Neptune 2:41 AM, Moon trine Pluto 4:02 PM.
Monday, February 13: We want to feel the world is fair will and balance this morning as the Moon enters Libra and the Sun sextiles Saturn, we’ll notice where it’s not, and are willing to work hard in that direction. Take an opportunity to step away from reactivity and into constructive action. Reassess personal responsibilities. It furthers to support one another and feel an energetic exchange, to be there for one another.
Moon square Saturn 5:36 AM, Moon enters Libra 1:42 PM, Sun sextile Saturn 10:57 PM.
Tuesday, February 14: Take advantage of new avenues and opportunities; communication can flow fairly easily this morning as the Libra Moon trines Mercury, so outreach, collaborate, and meet. Our critique can sharpen around dinner time as the Moon opposes Mars, let’s see if we can direct this at the world and not at our beloveds. Drop expectations and appreciate connection.
Moon opposed Venus 3:50 AM, Moon trine Mercury 11:09 AM, Moon opposed Mars 2:41 PM.
Wednesday, February 15: Clear up minor personal irritations or misunderstandings that sprang up in moments of unguarded Impatience, clear the air and soothes prickly edges as the Moon conjuncts Jupiter this morning and se tile Saturn. Do it now before the Moon enters Scorpio tonight when a sullen edginess will deepen unhealed rifts. Follow up on business leads and get information where it needs to go.
Moon square Pluto 12:57 AM, Moon opposed Uranus 7 AM, Moon conjunct Jupiter 9:53 AM, Moon sextile Saturn 3:30 PM, Moon trine son 6:53 PM, Moon enters Scorpio 11:40 PM.
Thursday, February 16: Get to the point and don’t keep people waiting. This is a potentially tactless but highly strategic day as Mercury sextiles Mars under a Scorpio Moon. Watch dueling defenses make headlines. Don’t expose tender underbellies to impatient people, make sure the other is in a place to receive before exposing a heart. This sharp, suspicious energy is good for research, and for setting personal boundaries.
Mercury sextile Mars, 11 of 14 a.m., Moon trine Neptune 10:01 PM.

We get a taste of spring regeneration a few months early; the heat cranks up and the pot begins to boil this week as Venus joins Mars together in Aries, the sign of willfulness, springtime awakening and revolution. With both emotional planets now in this self-starting and passionate fire sign, it’s all too easy to go off half-cocked; yes we need to dive in and engage, but need always to think about where we’re going, and how best to get there. We need less explosions and more determination.
Aries is a willful and freedom-loving sign; the upside is that we can get off the couch and deal with whatever seemed overwhelming last month. We can look at our problems straight in the eyes with more bravery and stamina. But in all this lovely independence we may forget to check in with our beloveds tell them where we’re going. Under stress we can feel a toddler’s urgency; we want what we want, now. We want to know that we are heard, that our yes is yes, and our no is no.
Aries energy is fiercely independent. For authority figures from parents to presidents who expect to be in control, all this sparking, alive energy can set off control issues and make them want to crack down. Just when no one wants to be told what to do. We can waste our energy by shooting off like firecrackers, or we can focus our drive in a more coordinated way, more like a combustion engine.
We also lose our credibility if we are against everything, or for everything, in a knee-jerk reaction, it will be important for us to choose our battles carefully, and follow through with determination. We can use these short-term bursts to support long-term goals. Let’s keep our wisest self in the driver seat.
Friday dawns under more sedate but stubborn Taurus moon, we want to hold our ground. Through the weekend a nervy Gemini Moon encourages conversation but can scatter our energies. If we feel the argumentative heat coming up, let’s take a break and come back to that topic shortly. It’s important not to leave any beloveds feeling cornered unless we want to burn the house down.
On Sunday the expansive, freedom-loving Jupiter turns retrograde. Jupiter and Saturn are the social-political planets, the order our consensual reality, our societal structures. We can expect a debate brewing about the true nature of freedom. Many of us may feel the country is retrograding in this capacity. What is sold as a bid to deregulate for new freedoms may backfire, and create freedom for some, and a more restricted world for others. Temporarily.
Midweek a potentially kind but self-protective cancer Moon brings us back into our hearts, but leave us potentially sulky if we feel tension between our need for independence versus our need for connection, or our bravery versus our personal protection. Problems that might attack our family, however we define family, can really light our fire.
As the week-ends, the Moon heads into a melodramatic full Moon-partial eclipse. We may see more melodrama the trauma, staging whatever we need to express how we truly feel, but it also brings a note of hope as the Sun trine’s Neptune, the hope of shared visions and shared imagination. It furthers to find common denominators and work from there.
Friday, February 3: Passions heat up as Venus enters Aries, but a stabilizing, stubborn Taurus Moon can steady us. Take advantage of a sweet moment midafternoon to reflect, and remember the vision, or find a more creative and less willful solution, as the Moon sextiles Neptune. As the Sun and Moon square off tonight, so do our opinions and actions.
Venus enters Aries 8:51 AM, Moon sextile Neptune 1:09 PM, Moon square Sun 9:18 PM
Saturday, February 4: Consider taking a break from political concerns and initiates changes in the personal life for self-care and stability as the Moon trines Pluto and Mercury this morning. Tonight, the Gemini Moon sextiles Venus brings more sociability and opens the floodgates of conversation. Get out and engage.
Moon trine Pluto 1:38 AM, Moon trine Mercury 3:41 PM, Moon enters Gemini 9:44 PM, Moon sextile Venus 11:51 PM.
Sunday February 5: It’s all too easy to live in our head and words, or in an illusion, as the Moon squares Neptune midday, and we may need to really rest or return to source so we have a better perspective. But we also need to manifest in our actions. Let’s ponder the true nature of freedom, what brings us both personal and societal freedom, and what only creates that illusion, as Jupiter turns retrograde.
Moon sextile Mars 8:15 AM, Moon square Neptune 3:53 PM, Jupiter retrograde 11:52 PM.
Monday February 6: Step forward; though unexpected shifts can rattle us this morning, some can be an improvement. The conversation deepens midday; if minor decisions press us at a crossroad we need to deal with them in light of the bigger picture.Tonight, appreciate competence, but take grimness or depression with a grain of salt as the Moon opposes serious Saturn.
Moon trine Sun 3:39 AM, Moon sextile Uranus 9:19 AM, Moon trine Pluto 12:32 PM, Moon opposed Saturn 3:53 PM.
Tuesday, February 7: The Moon in Cancer can both nurture our intimate relations and ask us to take care of the home front, but also brings out a self-protective streak. Mercury enters Aquarius and helps us set up networks which aid cooperation as long as we feel we can talk out our differences. Our defenses skyrocket when we feel discouraged or under attack.
Moon enters Cancer 12:02 AM, Mercury enters Aquarius 2:35 AM, Moon square Venus 4:54 AM, Moon square Mars 1:17 PM, Moon trine Neptune 6:19 PM.
Wednesday, February 8: Keep eyes open for an apparent setback as the waxing Cancer Moon opposes Pluto and squares Uranus this morning. We may need to deal with a serious confrontation, but don’t need to pour oil on the fire. We can feel touchy and defensive, insecure and cranky. This afternoon brings a wider aperture, more options and can take the edge off that mood as the Moon squares Jupiter.
Moon opposed Pluto 6:41 AM, Moon square Uranus 11:51 AM, Moon square Jupiter 2:59 PM.
Thursday, February 9: The waxing Moon enters Leo and highlights the difference between the needs of the collective (Aquarius Sun) and individual self-expression (Leo Full Moon). It asks us where are we, and our policies, centered on the self, or on a few individuals, and where are they good for both us and our community at large. Emotions can challenge communications this morning as the Moon opposes Mercury, we get more leverage with appreciation and reward than with conflict. We need to remember why we’re making efforts, and find a creative way of conveying this urgency as the Sun sextiles Neptune this afternoon.
Moon enters Leo 2:40 AM, Moon opposed Mercury 8:25 AM, Moon trine Venus 10:19 AM. Sun sextile Neptune 2:16 PM, Moon trine Mars 7:04 PM.
